Privacy Policy
Effective / last updated: 2026-06-25
RunCalc does not send or store your calculation inputs on a server; all calculations happen only in your browser.
However, advertising and analytics services such as Google AdSense may use cookies to collect non-personally-identifiable information.
1. Information we collect and do not collect
RunCalc has no sign-up process and does not request or collect personally identifying information such as your name or contact details. Values you enter into a calculator (distance, time, weight, speed, etc.) are used only within your browser, disappear automatically, and are never sent to or stored on our servers.
However, the following information may be generated and collected automatically as you use the website:
- Access IP address, browser type and version, operating system, visit time
- Pages visited, the previous page (referrer), device information
- Anonymous identifiers via cookies and similar technologies
2. Use of cookies
RunCalc may use cookies to provide the service and serve ads. A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser to remember visit history and settings.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your web browser settings. However, blocking cookies may limit some features and ad personalization. Cookie settings can be changed in the settings menu of each browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.).
3. Google AdSense and third-party advertising
RunCalc serves ads through Google AdSense. Google and other third-party ad vendors may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your prior visits.
- Google uses advertising cookies (e.g. the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.
- You can review and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info.
- How Google handles data is described on the How Google uses data from sites that use its services page.
4. Analytics tools
To improve the service, we may use web analytics tools such as Google Analytics. These tools collect anonymized statistics such as pages visited and time on page via cookies, and do not identify specific individuals.
5. Data retention and third-party provision
Because RunCalc does not directly collect or store your personal data, no separate retention period applies. Automatically collected access and cookie information is processed and retained according to the policies of the relevant service providers, such as Google. Except as required by law, we do not sell or arbitrarily provide your information to third parties.
6. Your rights
You have the right to refuse data collection through your browser cookie settings, and you can disable personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. For questions about privacy, contact us at the address below.
7. Children's privacy
RunCalc is not primarily intended for children under 14 and does not knowingly collect children's personal data.
8. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised due to changes in law or the service, and any changes will be announced on this page. For significant changes, we will update the effective date.
